‘Urban Mediaspace’ wordt grootste bibliotheek van Denemarken

Urban Mediaspace will be one of Scandinavias largest public library and belongs to a new generation of libraries that are built for the future and thus enjoys a very flexible design.

The house is situated at the mouth of the Aarhus River in one of the most prominent sites of the Aarhus city centre.

The Library is designed by schmidt hammer lassen architects and will be ready by 2014.

– Aarhus is de tweede stad van Denemarken. De bibliotheek wordt 30.000 m2, de investering bedraagt 228 miljoen euro en de bouw begint in 2011.
