Geelong Library and Heritage Centre
In Geelong, een van de grootste provinciesteden in Australië, 75 kilometer ten zuidwesten van Melbourne is de bouw begonnen van een nieuw Geelong Library and Heritage Centre. Het fraaie gebouw is ontworpen door ARM Architecture en wordt gebouwd op de lokatie van de oude bibliotheek.
De vloeroppervlakte bedraagt 6.000 m2 en de bouwkosten ongeveer 30 miljoen Euro.
It will be a state-of-the-art facility with all the mod cons for today’s library user. The new Geelong Library & Heritage centre will not only provide access to information through printed collections and via the latest multi-media platforms, it will serve as a community hub in the centre of Geelong.
