Boekenkast-boek-kunst-project…
De New Yorkse kunstenaar Roland Tianco heeft opmerkelijke kunstprojecten in boekvorm. Het eerste deel van een nieuwe serie omschrijft hij zelf als volgt:
Book # 001 of a series of books which contain 100% printed reproductions of everything in our world. The pages are printed one-sided, french folded, perforated , and bound into a book. The tearing out and unfolding of the pages to reassemble the content of the book at 100% is implied.
The dimensions of that which is contained in the book is the title.
The first book contains an anthropology bookshelf.
Het boek, met de titel 431,8 cm x 213 cm.
De inhoud bestaat uit 35 dubbele pagina’s, die je er uit kunt scheuren …
… openvouwen en samenvoegen tot een grote afbeelding van…
… de originele boekenkast die het uitgangspunt was voor het artists’book 001.
